Cats are facing a losing battle in North Carolina. As of 2020, North Carolina kills the third most cats in the United States, only behind Texas and California. North Carolina is one of six states that comprise 50 percent of cats and dogs killed in the United States (bestfriends.org). Existing animal shelters and rescue groups are doing the best they can, but there are too many cats for them to handle.
With your help, Carolina Cat Castle (CCC) will help change that. We will Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to help decrease the overall cat population. We will help lift the burden of crowded animal shelters, providing a more peaceful environment for cats while they wait for their forever home. And if they don’t get adopted, they will always have a home with us!
